On Sunday tornadoes ripped through our area. One touched down 2 blocks from Megan's house and about a mile from our house. We were at church at the time. The service had just started and the lights went out. Since we have about 400 people on a Sunday morning and no basement everyone was released. The tornado had already gone through by the time we got home. It's unbelievable to see all the destruction. I know several people that have been impacted and lost their homes.
Megan and I were the only ones with power so Grandma and Grandpa hung out at my house during the day with Mom and Luca and then Dad and Aunt Joy joined us for dinner. Michelle, Madilyn and Hudson even spent the night one night since they were without power in Washington too. So thankful that everyone had a place to go and that we were spared from the damage.
