MRI Results

We got Luca's MRI results today. His brain looks good! I already knew that. He has a tethered spine that they need to go in and release and he has a lipoma (fatty tissue) that is surrounding his nerves that they will remove as much as possible. Surgery is scheduled for January 9. Recovery seems pretty minimal so that is good. A couple days in the hospital. He does have to get circumcised before then too. The day after Christmas was the only day they had available.  Poor buddy.

Here are some pictures from Luca's bath time before his surgery.  He loves bath time so I can't wait to get the cast off.  I'm hoping for the day before Thanksgiving.
